Global Project Business Quality Leader (Electrical Distribution)

Location: Porcia, Italy or Milan, Italy

Annual gross salary: €94,000–€118,000 plus car, in accordance with the National Collective Labour Agreement for the rubber and plastics industry.

What you will do

• Build and deploy a global Project Business quality model covering specification, engineering, configuration, manufacturing, logistics, installation, commissioning, and after-sales.
• Integrate quality and risk management into customer requirements, solution design, engineering, and project preparation.
• Lead major customer complaints, field issues, critical escalations, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Reduce Cost of Poor Quality, rework, delays, claims, warranty costs, and customer dissatisfaction.
• Lead the quality organization and community across R&D, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, Group Quality, and external partners.
• Develop quality indicators, dashboards, project reviews, partner qualification processes, and fact-based reporting for leadership.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Significant quality, engineering, or operations leadership experience in an international, project-driven industrial environment.
• Strong exposure to complex electrical systems, engineered solutions, applications, or comparable technical project businesses.
• Understanding of system, solution, and application quality beyond individual product conformity.
• Experience with customer quality, field quality, complaints, critical escalations, warranty topics, and Cost of Poor Quality.
• Knowledge of quality and risk management, certification processes, ISO 9001, and CE requirements.
• Practical experience with 8D, FMEA, root-cause analysis, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
• Experience defining quality governance, processes, and performance indicators across functions and regions.
• Ability to build new capabilities, lead international teams in a matrix structure, influence senior stakeholders, and translate complex data into business actions.

Nice to have

• Experience in electrical distribution, switchgear, panel building, system integration, infrastructure, EPC, or comparable project environments.
