Project HSE Manager

Location: Milano, Italy; hybrid work flexibility available; availability to travel and undertake possible international assignments required.

Gross annual salary: no less than €45,000, plus an individual or collective variable incentive based on predetermined performance objectives.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise HSE activities throughout project lifecycles, from proposal through execution and completion.
• Define project HSE strategies and coordinate requirements with project teams, company functions, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturing HSE teams, operations, and local offices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, client requirements, international standards, company HSE standards, and vessel-operation requirements under the ISM Code, SOLAS, and MARPOL.
• Support risk management activities, including HAZID and HAZOP, and facilitate accident and incident investigations and statistical analysis.
• Conduct internal and external HSE audits, including prequalification and project-phase audits, and maintain the HSE Management System.
• Develop and deliver safety training, promote behavioral safety, and lead the collection, management, and analysis of HSE indicators and improvement plans.

Requirements

• Fluent English.
• 3–10 years of HSE Management experience in an EPCI work environment, including onshore and offshore construction and installation activities and vessel operations.
• Technical degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of the ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 series standards, with experience preparing and maintaining HSE Management Systems and conducting audits.
• Strong leadership, people management and influencing, teamwork, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
• Familiarity with HAZOP, HAZID, and the International Maritime Organization ISM Code.
• Driver license.
• Availability to travel and undertake possible international assignments.

• German language skills.
• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Qualification as a lead auditor.
