Junior Property Underwriter (Italy)

What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal property business to support profitable portfolio growth.
• Assess risk desirability through broker discussions, claims-history reviews, company-information analysis, and coordination with subject matter experts.
• Provide consistent, timely, and proactive service to brokers.
• Expand the broker network, attend broker events, and develop new market relationships in line with the manager’s sales plan.
• Prepare accurate monthly management information covering submissions, bind rate, average premium, and total premium.

Requirements

• Some underwriting experience is preferred; applicants with other professional experience are also welcome.
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Customer- and sales-oriented behavior, including motivation, tenacity, focus, technical capability, proactivity, and accountability.
