Enigneer III (AI)

What you will do

• Own well-defined features and projects from initial discussion through production.
• Build reliable, well-tested software for content upload, processing, metadata, storage, distribution, and review systems.
• Investigate production issues, implement lasting fixes, and improve system quality.
• Collaborate with Lead and Senior Engineers through pairing, feedback, and problem solving.
• Experiment with practical AI-assisted approaches to writing, testing, and reviewing code.

Requirements

• Experience building software with strong back-end capability.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or a comparable framework.
• Understanding of clean code, sensible trade-offs, and testing.
• Ability to investigate and solve production issues.
• Interest in using AI practically while applying independent technical judgment.
• Ability to learn quickly, take ownership, and contribute beyond the expected answer.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, Buildkite, Datadog, Rollbar, or content-heavy systems.
