Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Barcelona, Spain, with an office-first hybrid setup; on-site work is required several days a week. Engineering teams can work from the Barcelona or Madrid office, with remote work supported when appropriate.

Salary: €30,000–€42,800 annual.

What you will do

• Ship product features end to end, from understanding the problem and writing code to validating results in production.
• Build and scale AI-integrated systems, including LLM-powered workflows, agentic features, and tools for Finance teams.
• Develop across the stack using Ruby on Rails and React.
• Evaluate AI features in production with emphasis on reliability and user impact.
• Take ownership of outcomes, investigate why features succeed or fail, and iterate accordingly.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, share knowledge, and grow through fast-moving product work.

Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of software engineering experience and comfort working across the stack.
• Curiosity about AI and initial experience exploring it through side projects, coursework, or professional work.
• Comfortable with, or eager to become comfortable with, Ruby on Rails and React.
• Ability to communicate clearly about what is being built and why.
• Collaborative approach, including asking for help when needed and sharing knowledge.
• Strong focus on outcomes and willingness to improve work based on its impact.
