Senior Network Architect Cloud Infra Technologie (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Hoofddorp, North Holland, Netherlands; partially remote

Gross monthly salary: €7,464–€9,796, potentially higher depending on skills and capabilities.

hirify.global designs, builds, manages, and modernizes mission-critical information systems, including a renewed IT infrastructure for the Dutch Ministry of Defence.

What you will do

• Define current and future ICT operational needs with Defence architects and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and implement private cloud solutions within a complex IT environment.
• Translate programmes of requirements into technical designs capable of operating under extreme conditions.
• Lead and guide domain architects and network engineers, including support with LLD development and implementation.
• Participate in the Design Authority, make consequential technical decisions, and communicate solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure network-domain security requirements support system accreditation and compliance with applicable policies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a network architect in large ICT projects.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; a Dutch passport and successful completion of a VGB-B security screening are required to work for Defence.
• Experience with architecture models and methodologies, plus the ability to work strategically and conceptually while detailing designs for implementation.
• Knowledge of EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS, GRE, IPsec, multicast, SDN, overlay networks, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and IPAM.
• Experience with network automation and scripting, and with developing network security architectures including macro- and micro-segmentation.
• Knowledge and experience with the NORA reference architecture, Nutanix, and Google Cloud.
• Minimum CCNP certification.
• Must be a technical leader and team player while remaining self-sufficient, adaptable, positive under pressure, and able to maintain a helicopter view while working at network and security detail level.

Nice to have

• Experience as a network architect in a public cloud provider environment or comparable setting.
• CISSP certification.
• CCIE or JNCIE certification.
