Solution Designer – Corporate Functions Technology

Location: London, United Kingdom; other possible locations include Reading, Stirling, and Edinburgh.

What you will do

• Translate Corporate Functions business needs across Finance, Risk, HR, Legal, Workplace Solutions, Audit, and Corporate Affairs into clear technology solution designs.
• Produce functional, non-functional, integration, data, and security designs aligned with enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, engineers, analysts, delivery teams, and technology partners throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Assess solution options and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Identify design risks, assumptions, and dependencies and ensure appropriate mitigations.
• Support implementation, maintain design integrity, and improve solution design practices, patterns, and standards.

Requirements

• Experience designing technology solutions in complex corporate or enterprise environments.
• At least 3 years of experience designing Finance and Data Technology Architecture.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end solution design, including applications, integrations, and data.
• Significant experience with Oracle Fusion and EPM.
• Significant experience with Azure data tooling, including ADF, Databricks, and Synapse.
• Ability to understand data modelling and data governance.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and their supporting technology landscapes.
• Experience working within structured delivery and governance frameworks.
• Awareness of security, resilience, data quality, and regulatory considerations relevant to corporate and Finance systems.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, with strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
