AI Solutions Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Arlington, VA, US; must be a US citizen and obtain a TS clearance

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions, including LLM applications, RAG architectures, and agent-based workflows.
• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines covering data engineering, model development, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Integrate foundation models and cloud-native AI services across AWS and Azure.
• Develop secure, auditable, explainable AI systems with governance, traceability, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Monitor and optimize AI system accuracy, reliability, and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Establish containerized AI infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, document solutions, and provide knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering or AI/ML experience; exceptional new graduates with strong undergraduate research, hackathon wins, or elite internships may be considered.
• Strong Python programming skills with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, API integration, and asynchronous programming.
• Project or professional experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, or Qdrant, or agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization tools, including Docker.
• US citizenship is required; H1B and Green Card holders are not eligible.
• Ability to obtain a TS clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Production-grade code or open-source contributions in machine learning or systems engineering.
• Experience deploying open-weight models with vLLM, TGI, or Ollama and optimizing inference performance.
• Exposure to distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or PySpark.
• Ability to learn rapidly, resolve complex technical ambiguity, and work in a fast-paced government consulting environment.
