Level 3 IT Technician (Microsoft Azure)

What you will do

• Handle advanced escalations and provide technical support for complex infrastructure and networking issues.
• Troubleshoot and support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Azure, and identity-related services.
• Configure and manage file shares, permissions, SharePoint environments, firewalls, VPNs, switching, routing, Wi-Fi, and site-wide networks.
• Support VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Use PowerShell and automation tools to streamline administration and operational tasks.
• Document support work, collaborate with L1, L2, Projects, and Engineering teams, and contribute to recurring-issue resolution and service standardization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an MSP or similar IT services environment.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, DNS, and networking technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex server, firewall, VPN, wireless, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Experience working with RMM and PSA platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and operational follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure while maintaining a professional, client-focused approach.

Nice to have

• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
