Systems Administrator II (Healthcare Required)

Location: Remote; U.S.-based employment indicators include 401(k) benefits and E-Verify participation.

Salary: $92,000–$120,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Administer and support scalable cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure, including Active Directory, Windows Servers, VMware, storage, and enterprise clinical applications.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and resolve critical incidents with Development, Platform, Service Desk, Integration, and Clinical Applications teams.
• Design, automate, and optimize infrastructure monitoring, configuration management, deployment processes, and operational workflows.
• Lead infrastructure planning and architecture initiatives, including capacity management, system design documentation, security practices, and new technology implementations.
• Coordinate vendors, provision and track equipment, maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles, and mentor Tier 1 support staff.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years working as a Systems Administrator.
• Experience in radiology or healthcare is required.
• Experience administering VMware, Red Hat, SAN, Microsoft Server, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with large-scale deployments, configuration management, automation, and monitoring tools.
• Experience supporting high-availability, high-traffic applications and implementing CI/CD practices.
• Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused approach to internal IT support.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, adapt to changing priorities, and resolve conflicts in fast-paced environments.
