Senior SW Backend Engineer (Java)

Location: Rehovot, Israel; onsite role.

What you will do

• Design and develop Java backend software for scan-domain system flows.
• Implement and maintain system logic for scanning, sequencing, and execution workflows.
• Integrate end-to-end scan workflows with algorithm, hardware, and system teams.
• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend components using domain-driven architecture.
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex backend and system-level issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Experience designing and implementing complex backend or system-level software.
• Experience working in Linux-based environments and domain-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, concurrency, and performance considerations.
• Ability to work across domains and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
