Forward Deployed Engineer, Mid-Market - Berlin (AI)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid with 3 days per week in the Berlin office and 2 days remote. The role launches agents for customers in Germany and the DACH region.

What you will do

• Run multiple mid-market implementations from kickoff to live agent on a fixed timeline of about four weeks.
• Configure and adapt agents to customer policies, products, tone, contact windows, retry rules, channel mix, payment links, and human-agent handoffs.
• Set up customer data imports and exports through standard integration flows.
• Test agents with simulations and evaluations before launch, fix failures, and monitor production performance.
• Analyze contact rates, promises, payments, and funnels using SQL and dashboards; explain results to customers and improve agent and contact strategies.
• Turn repeated implementation work into templates, scripts, tooling, and standard workflows; document handovers and share product feedback with Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a technical role such as software engineering, solutions engineering, implementation, technical support, or technical consulting; strong graduates are welcome.
• Ability to write Python and/or TypeScript and SQL, work with APIs, and handle data files.
• Interest in structured, repeatable work and automation.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and keep each one on schedule.
• Clear communication with customers and teammates.
• Native-level German and fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, including prompting, evaluations, or building small agents.
• Exposure to collections, lending, telecom, utilities, or other customer operations.
• Computer Science, Engineering, or Math degree, or equivalent experience.
