hirify.global is building a software platform for AI-powered autonomous systems for enterprise and government customers.

What you will do

• Lead the local IT team in Germany, initially consisting of one IT Support Engineer, including prioritization, coaching, work reviews, hiring, and onboarding.
• Own infrastructure decisions for multiple German offices, including tooling, network and cloud designs, office build-outs, and new technology implementation.
• Administer network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless networks, cloud platforms, licenses, and the VS-NfD network.
• Manage IAM processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews.
• Operate cybersecurity tooling such as endpoint protection, vulnerability management, SIEM, and phishing simulation platforms.
• Drive IT certifications, compliance controls, documentation, and export-control requirements while serving as the senior technical escalation point.

Requirements

• EU citizenship is required because the role involves access to export-controlled systems and information.
• Professional working proficiency in German and English.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure, ideally in a regulated or security-conscious environment.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, SSO management, and IAM systems.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity practices, including endpoint security, threat detection, and security auditing.
• Hands-on ability to configure, troubleshoot, and fix systems while guiding the team.
• Experience supporting mixed Linux and macOS endpoint environments.
• Ability to adapt quickly, reprioritize, solve problems, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with, or willingness to work within, export-control and defense-compliance frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, ITIL, or security-focused credentials.
