Senior Process Engineer (Advanced Electronics)

Location: 100% onsite at the Newark, Delaware facility, United States; candidates within commuting distance are prioritized.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and process expertise for an assigned manufacturing area.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex process, quality, safety, and operational issues.
• Identify and implement data-, risk-, and business-impact-driven process improvements affecting safety, quality, yield, capacity, reliability, and productivity.
• Support manufacturing roadmaps covering process risks, capability gaps, equipment health, automation opportunities, and capital needs.
• Support capital projects and R&D scale-up, including scope definition, design reviews, startup, commissioning, and performance validation.
• Maintain PFMEAs, process documentation, procedures, technical requirements, and standard work while guiding technical practices and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in production, process, manufacturing, or a related engineering environment.
• Demonstrated experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and translate data into actionable solutions.
• Experience collaborating across manufacturing, engineering, quality, maintenance, and other technical functions.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety and quality expectations.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of production, process, or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with capital projects, equipment commissioning, startup, scale-up, or performance validation.
• Experience developing and maintaining PFMEAs and other process-risk tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, process capability, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with automation, process controls, or advanced manufacturing systems.
• Experience coaching or providing technical guidance to other engineers.
