Engineer II (HGA Process Engineering)

Location: Teparuk, Thailand; onsite at the Teparuk facility. No travel required.

hirify.global's Teparuk facility produces nano-recording heads, a critical component of hard disk drive read/write functionality.

What you will do

• Support HGA, L-Slider, ComET/SDET, and HAMR process monitoring, control, and product performance.
• Manage mechanical and/or electrical performance metrics to deliver assigned goals.
• Create work orders, process flows, and requirements for evaluation and improvement builds.
• Perform preliminary data analysis to identify and narrow down problem areas.
• Conduct process and product improvement activities and align work with assigned tasks.
• Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine root causes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or equivalent engineering-related experience.
• Fluent communication in both Thai and English.
• Knowledge of analysis skills, problem-solving tools, and decision-making.
• Ability to understand and interpret statistical data.
• Fundamental awareness of AI and machine learning.
• Logical thinking, teamwork, self-development, and ability to learn through on-the-job training.
• Ability to learn new technologies, especially in electrical and mechanical fields.
• Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements across internal teams and departments.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines, follow up on assignments, work in a dynamic environment, and work outside regular office hours when required.
