Staff Industial Engineer

Location: Korat, Thailand. On-site manufacturing role; no travel required.

Manufactures cloud-based storage equipment and hard disk drive products at a large manufacturing facility.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional capacity, capital, equipment, tooling, and resource planning aligned with business commitments and technology roadmaps.
• Develop and manage equipment capacity plans, deployment plans, and what-if scenarios to support demand fulfillment and operational execution.
• Prepare documentation for new equipment acquisitions, including Appropriation Requests and Purchase Requisitions, and monitor capital spending and equipment status.
• Consolidate equipment assumptions, technology roadmaps, and planning inputs for short- and long-term planning.
• Design and implement automated workflows and digital solutions for capacity, capital, and resource planning.
• Support Slider Modernization, Smart Factory, AI adoption, automation, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Background as an Industrial Engineer with capacity and capital planning experience.
• Good knowledge of hard disk drive manufacturing and Slider operations.
• Experience automating workflows and using databases, data analytics platforms, and simulation tools such as Python, FlexSim, and Arena, including querying, analyzing, and interpreting database data.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Experience with database systems, data analytics platforms, and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of AI, automation, digital solutions, and workflow optimization.
