Lithography Tool Install Engineer

Location: Onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States

Annual salary range: $52,000–$200,000.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and execute semiconductor equipment installation activities supporting factory construction and manufacturing ramp milestones.
• Coordinate factory owners, suppliers, contractors, construction partners, and engineering teams to ensure equipment, materials, and resources are ready.
• Maintain installation plans, schedules, project milestones, funding and procurement tracking, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Act as the hirify.global equipment owner from planning through installation and turnover, resolving constraints and escalating risks.
• Support lithography equipment installation, relocation, startup, qualification, factory readiness, and integration into manufacturing operations.
• Ensure work meets safety, quality, and operational standards while coordinating solutions to installation challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related technical field plus 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment installation, construction management, project management, capital projects, or factory ramp operations; alternatively, a Master’s degree in the same fields plus 1+ years of experience in these areas.
• Strong project planning, coordination, and execution skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing skills in a highly matrixed environment.
• Ability to make sound decisions, solve problems, and drive timely issue resolution.
• Ownership, accountability, attention to detail, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.

• This is a temporary fixed-term contract assignment expected to last 24 months, unless extended based on business requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting factory startup, qualification, or manufacturing ramp activities.
• Professional Project Manager (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent project management certification.
