Sr Database Management Specialist (Medidata Rave)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; must be based in Mexico. Fully home-based position.

What you will do

• Design and modify data models for complex database requirements while considering business and application needs.
• Plan and coordinate advanced data models and metadata management solutions, providing application-level support to development teams.
• Support enterprise-wide data standards, logical data modeling, and assigned data subject areas.
• Implement and manage the global metadata repository, including metadata sources, quality monitoring, and common data definitions.
• Coordinate repository testing and documentation and conduct user interviews to gather metadata requirements.
• Perform EDC builds, study build tasks, post-production changes, and configuration of Medidata Rave modules including Coding, Local Lab, IWRS/IRT integration, CTMS, Safety Gateway, and TSDV.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of database systems with at least five years of experience, including at least two years in data administration.
• Hands-on experience with Medidata Rave and EDC build activities.
• Experience interpreting study protocols, developing edit check specifications, and programming custom functions.
• Advanced English proficiency in written and spoken communication; language skills will be assessed during the interview.
• Must be based in Mexico.
