Data Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; Rochester, Minnesota. Monday–Friday during business hours with 10%+ travel.

Salary: $102,300–$143,200 per year.

What you will do

• Build and optimize data architecture, pipelines, transformations, metadata, dependencies, and workload-management processes.
• Assemble, process, and analyze large and disconnected datasets using SQL, joins, unions, and data-mining techniques.
• Investigate customer data requests, identify root causes, resolve data issues, and recommend solutions.
• Perform data profiling, quality reviews, validation, testing, and improvement initiatives.
• Research data sources and improve data solutions for functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Support software developers, database architects, analysts, and data scientists across concurrent projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an associate degree with at least two years of experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data analysis, profiling, modeling, exploration, and mining.
• Understanding of ETL, data quality, source-system databases, and data transformation.
• Experience using tools such as Rapid SQL, AQT, Information Analyzer, or Informatics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, time-management, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship, visa transfer, and F-1 STEM OPT extension support are not available.
