Analytics Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States. U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Base salary: $155,000–$185,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, and extend analytics models and tested, documented datasets for internal and customer-facing data products.
• Own major sections of the data model and support engineering, product, and customer success teams with reporting and insights.
• Transform complex healthcare data into insights on patient engagement, care outcomes, product performance, and business operations.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into data models and deliverables.
• Maintain clear, current documentation for Visualize, the analytics and reporting platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data as an analytics engineer, data engineer, analyst, or similar, with strong SQL skills.
• Experience designing, building, and extending dimensional data models using Kimball or a similar methodology.
• Experience working with a large-scale cloud data warehouse containing 1B+ rows; Snowflake is preferred.
• Production dbt experience with version control, code review, and continuous integration practices.
• Experience writing data tests and contributing to monitoring and observability practices for reliable analytics systems.
• Experience building reports and dashboards in a BI tool such as Metabase.
• Ability to plan work independently and break projects into tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ability to prioritize data quality, privacy, and compliance, including healthcare standards such as HIPAA.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams, including external customers.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python or Ruby for data processing and automation.
• Experience with healthcare data, PostgreSQL, or customer-facing data products.
