Software Engineer, Membership Experience (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA; onsite work. The in-office policy generally requires four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near an office.

Base salary: $133,000–$184,000 USD annually, excluding potential bonuses, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and scale backend services and front-end surfaces for membership benefits, rewards, and engagement.
• Build and iterate on APIs and UI components for hirify.global's mobile app.
• Own projects end-to-end, from architecture and API design through implementation and ongoing code health.
• Partner with product, design, data science, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand member needs, define experiments, and ship solutions.
• Use metrics and member and business impact to prioritize decisions and efforts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience in a production environment at scale.
• Proven experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React, React Native, or TypeScript-based frameworks.
• Experience with transactional databases, caching systems, and API design.
• Ability to work across the stack and learn new technologies.
• Product mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation, iteration, and measuring impact.
• Collaborative communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.

• Experience with experimentation frameworks and data-driven product development.
