Business Ops / Systems Manager (SAP)

Location: Hybrid role based at the SCE facility in Rosemead, California; employees are generally required to work and reside in California. The role includes up to 20% travel and field work across the SCE service territory, may require extended work at an alternate location, and relocation may apply.

Salary: $143,900–$215,800 per year.

What you will do

• Lead business systems support covering user support, issue triage, enhancement intake, platform administration, prioritization, and escalations.
• Manage exempt personnel and lead operating plans aligned with departmental strategy and short- and medium-term objectives.
• Coordinate business-function support, projects, initiatives, meetings, deliverables, status reporting, implementation, and quality control.
• Develop analytics, processes, metrics, policies, and procedures to improve operational productivity and performance.
• Identify risks, limitations, insights, and model processes; present recommendations to leadership and implement approved changes.
• Protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, medical, proprietary, and other confidential information and assets.

Requirements

• At least five years of combined experience performing or supervising business operations analysis.
• Experience developing strategic plans or roadmaps.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with clients to identify needs independently, develop action plans, define deliverables, and present results.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, influencing outcomes, and removing barriers.
• Experience collaborating with executive and senior management, peers, departments, and external parties to develop solutions and achieve consensus.
• Experience implementing and enhancing procurement tools, strategies, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Techno-functional or subject-matter-expert experience supporting technology solutions.
• Ability to work and reside in California unless otherwise noted; hybrid facility attendance and up to 20% travel are required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP ECC/S4HANA, or Fieldglass.
