Sr Construction Project Manager (Aerospace)

Hiring range: $156,000–$234,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Plan, design, and execute capital construction projects supporting rocket manufacturing.
• Oversee complex, high-bay, mission-critical facilities and supporting infrastructure, ensuring safe, timely, on-budget delivery that meets aerospace, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Propulsion, PBF, Avionics, Machine Shop, Facilities, EHS, Security, government agencies, utility suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
• Manage project budgets through cost-benefit analysis, resource allocation, and financial auditing.
• Develop risk-mitigation and contingency strategies to protect delivery timelines, quality, and mission outcomes.
• Evaluate project lifecycles and implement workflow efficiencies and best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive project management experience, including a documented history of delivering high-stakes, million-dollar initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering capital and development projects.
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment foundations and structural systems.
• Strong understanding of MEP and process utilities.
• Experience managing A/E firms, contractors, design-build firms, and multiple concurrent projects.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, rocket manufacturing, or similarly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials, propulsion systems, or test facilities.
• Experience with fast-track and design-build project delivery models.
• Strong financial and schedule control discipline.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
