Sr. Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Space Coast, FL, United States; applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees.

Base pay for Washington applicants: $134,434.00–$188,207.25 per year; other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Ensure hardware availability for the New Glenn 9 Engine Forward Module flight and qualification articles.
• Maintain end-to-end planning and procurement signal flow for critical components, aligning MRP demand with P6 forecasts.
• Develop schedule-blocker metrics and integrate engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing inputs for data-driven decisions.
• Develop data engineering solutions using AI and Databricks to improve technical material readiness visibility.
• Validate MRP demand signals, resolve eBOM-mBOM mismatches, and align engineering requirements with build strategy.
• Identify and initiate mitigation for critical schedule risks while coordinating technical issue resolution across functional organizations.

Requirements

• Understanding of engineering change management and configuration control processes.
• Working knowledge of MRP systems and technical procurement specifications.
• Experience with Databricks, AI, SQL, and/or other programming languages.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and aerospace materials and process requirements.
• Experience with project scheduling tools and technical timeline management.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize technical data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts across diverse functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and technical data analysis tools.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• 7+ years of engineering project experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing technical procurement for complex aerospace systems or assemblies.
• Experience applying engineering principles to supply chain and material readiness challenges.
• Experience with ERP systems and technical data management platforms.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality standards, manufacturing processes, and compliance requirements.
• Skill in technical risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Experience applying SQL, Databricks, or BI tools to improve engineering and procurement processes.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to use data to drive actions.
