Vice President, Global Corporate Controller (SaaS)

Location: Remote-first; most roles are remote in-country, some are remote within a region, and a few teams have an in-office hub. Occasional travel may be required for onboarding and team gatherings.

What you will do

• Own global accounting operations, including monthly and quarterly close, consolidations, technical accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Lead domestic and international tax strategy, compliance, transfer pricing, and indirect tax as the business expands.
• Build treasury operations covering cash management, banking relationships, foreign exchange exposure, and capital deployment across currencies and entities.
• Own procurement and vendor management, including source-to-pay processes, contract negotiation, spend management, and purchasing controls.
• Scale ERP, billing, close automation, internal controls, audit readiness, and finance operations for international expansion and potential public-market preparation.
• Partner with the CFO, executive leadership, board, investors, Legal, Sales, and Revenue Operations while building and mentoring a global accounting and tax team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership in high-growth SaaS or consumption-based software companies.
• CPA required, with deep US GAAP expertise and experience applying ASC 606 to usage-based revenue models.
• Experience scaling tax and treasury functions across international, multi-entity, and multi-currency operations.
• Experience building accounting infrastructure and teams through rapid growth and international expansion.
• Strong systems acumen with NetSuite, Workday, or similar ERP and usage-based billing platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and strong communication skills for working with executives, the board, investors, auditors, and advisors.
