Vice President, Global Corporate Controller (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States; hirify.global is remote-first, with most roles remote in-country, but this role is listed as hybrid.

Salary: $270,000–$350,000 annually; equity offered and an $81,000–$105,000 bonus mentioned separately.

What you will do

• Lead global accounting operations, including monthly and quarterly close, consolidations, technical accounting under ASC 606, and financial reporting.
• Develop corporate tax strategy and compliance covering domestic and international planning, transfer pricing, and sales/use, VAT, and GST obligations.
• Build treasury operations across cash management, banking relationships, foreign exchange exposure, and capital deployment across multiple currencies and entities.
• Own procurement and vendor management, including source-to-pay processes, contract negotiation, spend management, and purchasing controls.
• Scale accounting infrastructure, ERP, billing, close automation, internal controls, audit readiness, and finance operations for international expansion.
• Partner with the CFO, executive leadership, board, investors, Legal, Sales, and Revenue Operations while building and mentoring the global accounting and tax team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including significant leadership experience in a high-growth SaaS or consumption/usage-based software company serving both private and public companies.
• CPA certification is required.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition for consumption- or usage-based models.
• Experience building or scaling tax and treasury functions, including international tax and multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
• Experience scaling accounting infrastructure and teams through rapid growth, ideally including international expansion.
• Experience owning or closely partnering on procurement and vendor management, including contract negotiation and spend controls.
• Strong systems expertise with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or Workday, or similar systems, plus billing platforms for usage-based revenue.
• Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to partner directly with the CFO, CEO, board, and investors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
