Learning & Development Program Senior Advisor

Location: Hybrid, with a primary work location in Irwindale, California; required to work and reside in California, report to an SCE facility for a set number of days, work at various locations across the SCE service territory, and travel or work in the field up to 80% of the time. Relocation does not apply.

What you will do

• Direct enterprise-wide skilling, upskilling, and reskilling processes and build capabilities at scale in line with business plans.
• Design and deliver complex technical training materials, content, curricula, and learning solutions.
• Manage and facilitate training programs, including leadership, employee, system, technical, safety, and compliance training.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve training design, development, and delivery issues.
• Analyze internal data, external research, and best practices; develop dashboards and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Lead best-practice and standards frameworks for technical trainers and training programs.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience leading and implementing technical training initiatives.
• Experience leading cross-organizational training programs focused on improving employee performance or compliance training.
• Ability to protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, proprietary, medical, and other sensitive information with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously and consulting with management on training initiatives.
• Experience developing and deploying training programs in leadership, employee, technical, safety, or regulatory compliance areas.
• Mastery of facilitating learning solutions and experience leading teams.
• Knowledge and application of the Kirkpatrick model.
• Understanding of adult learning theory and its application to instructional design and facilitation.
• Experience training leaders and facilitating trainings outside of the 2-day hybrid requirement.
