Electrical Project Engineer III/Senior

Location: Findlay, Ohio, United States; a hybrid work schedule is offered, with travel to field locations or fabrication sites up to 25–35% of the time, including some overnight travel. Relocation assistance is available.

What you will do

• Manage multiple electrical engineering projects through conceptual, feasibility, definition, implementation, and start-up or close-out phases.
• Define project scope, estimates, schedules, engineering designs, equipment and material selections, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with departments, subject matter experts, technicians, vendors, project controls, supply chain, and local authorities.
• Monitor quality, cost, schedule, productivity, safety, and environmental performance during project execution.
• Prepare bid requests, evaluate contractors, coordinate contracting plans, and oversee construction.
• Maintain project documentation and apply relevant engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Experience or capability involving electrical and control equipment such as medium- and low-voltage power distribution, MCCs, PLCs, instrumentation, conduit, wire, and fiber infrastructure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required for field and fabrication-site travel.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
