Electrical Project Engineer I/II

Location: Findlay, Ohio, United States; hybrid work schedule with travel to field locations or fabrication sites up to 25–35%, including overnight travel. Other L&SE locations may be considered. Relocation assistance is available.

What you will do

• Manage multiple electrical projects through conceptual, feasibility, definition, implementation, and start-up/close-out phases.
• Lead project scope, estimates, schedules, engineering design, equipment and material selection, bidding, contractor selection, and construction oversight.
• Coordinate with departments, subject matter experts, technicians, vendors, local authorities, Supply Chain, and Project Controls.
• Monitor quality, cost, schedule, safety, environmental performance, productivity, and critical project variances.
• Prepare contracting plans and bid requests, evaluate proposals, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Apply engineering standards and regulatory requirements to projects involving power distribution, MCCs, PLCs, instrumentation, conduit, wire, and fiber infrastructure.

Requirements

• Required bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
• No minimum industry experience is required; candidates with all levels of industry experience are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC.
• Valid driver’s license required for travel to field locations and fabrication sites.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
