Windows Administrator V (Active Directory/Entra ID)

Location: Colorado, United States; 100% remote with onsite travel as required

What you will do

• Plan and execute enterprise Active Directory-to-Entra ID migrations and domain consolidation.
• Coordinate migration waves, stakeholder communications, application-owner engagement, compatibility testing, cutovers, and next-day support.
• Configure Entra ID synchronization, validate directory health, implement Kerberos/SSO, and perform workstation and domain re-joins.
• Develop PowerShell automation and migration pipelines; execute pilot migrations of approximately 200 users and controlled nightly batches of up to 150 users.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation for permissions, ACL remediation, authentication, profile, application access, and PIV certificate login issues.
• Perform Windows operations and maintenance, including monitoring, patching, backup/restore, configuration and change control, disaster recovery testing, documentation, and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology field.
• 12 years of experience designing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows system environments.
• Expertise with Active Directory, Active Directory Federated Services, Azure AD, and Entra ID.
• Experience with Kerberos/SSO, PowerShell automation, large enterprise environments, and strict change control.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to pass a Public Trust Government background investigation.
• Strong written and oral communication, troubleshooting, teamwork, and ability to work in a high-stress environment.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, ACL, Group Policy, AGPM, SCCM, SCOM, and WSUS.
