FP&A Accountant

Location: Peoria, Illinois; onsite 5 days per week. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Summary pay range: $89,210.00–$133,810.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead forecasting, budgeting, annual planning, and long-range financial planning for Demonstration & Learning Centers, Tradeshow & Events, and Industrial Design.
• Prepare and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including variance analysis, currency exposure analysis, and performance trends.
• Partner with Global Marketing & Brand leaders on investment analysis, strategic initiatives, financial guidance, and decision support.
• Manage headcount reporting, workforce trends, resource utilization, spending analysis, and organizational analytics.
• Serve as the business-unit lead for Axiom, providing administration, user support, training, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure policy compliance, and improve reporting, forecasting, analytics, and financial processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in FP&A, financial reporting, accounting, business analysis, or a related finance discipline.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis, with the ability to develop actionable business recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in understanding business operations beyond the numbers.
• Ability to work independently and build effective relationships across a matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• FP&A experience in a large corporate environment or supporting marketing, commercial, sales, customer-facing, or corporate functions.
• Experience presenting forecasts and recommendations to leadership, developing business cases, and supporting strategic investment decisions.
• Experience with workforce, spending, and operational analytics; financial systems; reporting tools; Excel; and other analytical tools.
• Experience with Axiom or similar planning and reporting platforms.
• Executive communication skills, experience influencing decisions through data, and comfort working in a highly visible, collaborative environment.
