Business Analyst Advisor (Solumina MES)

What you will do

• Analyze manufacturing, quality, and shop-floor workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Lead workshops and interviews, document functional and technical requirements, and create user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Configure Solumina MES modules including Work Instructions, Routing, NCR, MRB, and Quality.
• Create and execute system test plans and support user acceptance testing.
• Contribute to training, documentation, change communication, and production support.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and IT to align MES capabilities with operations and recommend continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in manufacturing or aerospace/defense.
• Experience with Solumina MES or other MES/MOM systems.
• Functional knowledge of SAP PP, QM, and SM, including the ability to debug transactions.
• Experience with ABAP, IDoc, PI/PO configuration, event handling, and TVARV/SPRO.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes, requirements documentation, and process mapping.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Solumina iSeries or G8.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA CPI or other ERP integrations, including Oracle.
• Understanding of aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments.
