IT Operations Engineer (Network)

Location: Onsite in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; weekend and holiday work required

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Monitor network reliability and performance using SolarWinds, DataDog, and related tools.
• Lead network incident resolution, meet SLAs, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Implement and support secure networking across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Create and maintain network topology maps, procedures, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Support enterprise data centers, server and cloud environments, and game-day operations.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Cisco Nexus, Arista, and Meraki switches; Cisco wireless controllers; Windows, Linux, and Unix environments; and ServiceNow.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, routing protocols, and network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting, plus strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in a complex, multisite environment.
• Availability to provide game-day support on major holidays when games are played.

Nice to have

• Data center network troubleshooting with Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, or Arista.
• Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for server and cloud operations.
• Cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, or O365.
• Infrastructure capacity planning, performance tuning, security best practices, SIEM, and endpoint protection experience.
• Experience with advanced video streaming technologies and CDNs.
• CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or technical certifications in servers or cloud.
