.NET Developer (AI)

Location: Georgia; fully remote

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable .NET applications for email hosting, Microsoft 365, and cloud services.
• Build backend services and RESTful APIs for cloud-based email and Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Modernize existing applications and support migration toward modern architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Management, QA, DevOps, architects, and engineering teams to deliver reliable software.
• Troubleshoot production issues, participate in code reviews, and improve development standards.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability while using AI-assisted engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with .NET technologies.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core, MVC, and SQL Server.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar tools, with the ability to validate generated results.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, or Office 365 APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, and messaging or streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of SMTP, IMAP, POP3, Exchange Web Services, or Microsoft Graph API.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
