Backend Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is building a market and infrastructure platform that connects fragmented GPU compute supply with AI labs, research labs, and inference providers.

What you will do

• Build provider self-service onboarding from signed agreement through cluster listing without manual intervention.
• Develop automated readiness checks that validate GPU clusters before sale and continue monitoring them afterward.
• Create provider statements showing sold capacity and payouts.
• Build uptime, health, and fleet-data pipelines across provider clusters.
• Generate provider advice identifying failures that reduce sales and the highest-priority fixes.
• Work with supply and solutions teams, communicate with providers weekly, and carry a production pager.

Requirements

• Three to twenty years of experience delivering impressive technical work in production.
• Experience building supply-side products such as onboarding, readiness checks, or payouts for sellers, hosts, merchants, or partners.
• Production backend experience in Go, or sufficient systems background to ship production Go within the first month.
• Experience building SQL and Postgres data pipelines and models, or equivalent warehouse-based systems relied on by other teams.
• Ability to read a failing GPU health check on a Linux host and identify the failed component.
• Ability to build the frontend for each owned feature using the TypeScript console.
• Production on-call experience for customer-dependent systems, including making the system quieter afterward.
• This is an individual contributor role; frontend-only profiles and candidates who require fully specified requirements are unsuitable.

Nice to have

• GPU cloud or marketplace experience involving supply onboarding or capacity tracking.
• Hardware validation experience, including burn-in, acceptance testing, or checking delivered hardware against vendor commitments.
• Fleet monitoring experience across many sites, including DCIM, uptime, or observability.
• Experience with metering usage and handling payouts or revenue share for multiple parties.
