Unix Engineering/System Administration

Location: On-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado; U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Perform daily systems administration and help desk support for Solaris and Linux environments.
• Automate administration tasks with Perl, Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Manage file systems, storage, and virtualization using ZFS, UFS, VEEAM, and PDOM/LDOM.
• Configure and integrate systems with Active Directory and LDAP.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices, STIGs, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain documentation, assess COTS solutions, troubleshoot issues, and support system releases and engineering lifecycle documents.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Relevant certification such as Security+ CE, CASP, CAP, or CISSP.
• Experience with Solaris and Linux systems administration, scripting, file systems, storage, virtualization, Active Directory, LDAP, and cybersecurity compliance.
