Cloud FinOps Analyst

What you will do

• Manage and curate Cloudability dashboards, views, reports, and related proprietary client assets.
• Build and maintain a current catalog of dashboards, including additions, changes, and retirements.
• Design and implement information hierarchies, organizational structures, and naming conventions for dashboard libraries.
• Develop validation strategies covering dashboard accuracy, ownership, metrics, dimensions, and data lineage.
• Test Cloudability features and releases, write test cases, report regressions with evidence, and drive fixes through resolution.
• Implement and support adoption of UI changes, metrics, and dimensions aligned with evolving business requirements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Cloudability.
• Working knowledge of AWS or GCP billing data and Kubernetes cost allocation.
• Strong understanding of FinOps concepts, including allocation, efficiency, and tagging.
• Experience building and governing BI dashboards, including naming conventions and information architecture.
• Experience automating governance checks with code such as the Cloudability API or Python, scheduled validation jobs, or no-code/low-code platforms such as Power Automate, Workato, Make, or n8n.
• Ability to own testing and implementation end to end, from validating a change through rollout and resolution.
• Methodical testing mindset with experience in UAT or QA of SaaS tools.

Nice to have

• FinOps Certified Practitioner certification.
• SQL skills for cross-checking platform numbers against raw data.
• Experience supporting a large enterprise with many stakeholders.
