Data Analyst (Cloud Financial Operations)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid work requiring attendance at the San Francisco office 3 days per week.

US base salary: $114,200–$142,700 per year for the San Francisco location.

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates a constellation of imaging satellites and delivers satellite data through a cloud-based platform for commercial, environmental, and humanitarian users.

What you will do

• Build and own extract, transform, and load pipelines that ingest and aggregate cloud cost datasets.
• Analyze and visualize data to inform product, business, and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics measuring product and business efficiency.
• Build datasets and self-service data tools using modern data tooling.
• Contribute to discussions and code reviews with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• A bachelor’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent.
• Expertise in SQL and Python for data cleaning, aggregation, and analytics.
• Experience with Git or another version-control system.
• Familiarity with enterprise cloud platforms and cloud cost use cases.
• Reliability and accuracy in analytics work.
• Experience working in a dynamic environment serving multiple stakeholder groups with different needs and technical abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with the modern data stack, including Fivetran, dbt, Looker, Omni, Sigma, or similar tools.
• Experience enabling finance teams with cost and revenue data.
• Familiarity with enterprise cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
