Director, Security Intelligence & Response

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States; primarily office-based, with travel and flexibility outside core office hours required for operational support, international calls, and major security events.

Base salary for positions based in New Jersey: $195,000-$220,000 annually, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Lead global monitoring, intelligence, response, travel risk, and asset protection programs covering employees, facilities, operations, and corporate reputation.
• Advise Global Security leadership and business stakeholders on geopolitical developments, emerging threats, incidents, organizational risk, and exposure.
• Oversee protective intelligence, horizon scanning, threat assessment, executive-focused intelligence support, and actionable risk mitigation products.
• Develop enterprise response frameworks, playbooks, procedures, emergency communications, crisis plans, and readiness exercises for the GSOC and security partners.
• Set governance and strategic direction for security platforms supporting executive protection, emergency notification, incidents, travel risk, and enhanced facilities monitoring.
• Manage the budget, vendor network, stakeholder relationships, and a team of security managers while driving operational improvement and measurable value.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 10+ years of experience managing a team of analysts, preferably with military, major law enforcement, intelligence, public-sector, or private-sector security experience.
• Ability to develop and motivate teams, work operationally and strategically, influence stakeholders in a matrix organization, and manage competing priorities.
• Experience working across multiple markets and cultural complexities; ability to work across multiple time zones and travel as required.
• Ability to build a strong network of intelligence resources and maintain relationships with global security, intelligence, diplomatic, law enforcement, industry, and crisis-response experts.
• Extensive knowledge of global geopolitical activity, threat conditions, and government structures.
• Strong familiarity with security hardware and technology, including door technology, access control, security video, sensors, and related technology stacks.
• Strong understanding of security intelligence capture, processing, lifecycle management, dissemination, digital landscapes, and emerging threat trends.
• Business acumen, results orientation, problem-solving ability, and well-developed communication, interpersonal, presentation, team-building, and relationship-management skills.
