Upgrade Services Project Manager (Cabin)

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; onsite 80% and remote 20%. Travel required up to 10% domestically and internationally.

What you will do

• Manage small, medium, and large commercial aircraft cabin modification projects from contract signature through closure.
• Develop project plans and master schedules, manage milestones and critical paths, and provide progress visibility to stakeholders.
• Deliver complete and accurate cabin retrofit solutions, supporting customers with solution embodiment and implementation.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, budgets, invoicing, and P&L performance.
• Support offer development and sales with technical input, delta offers, and customer acceptance activities.
• Lead cross-functional engineering, supply chain, and certification teams while serving as the primary customer contact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, including mechanical, aeronautic, civil, or electrical engineering, or in business.
• Minimum 9 years of experience within the aviation industry.
• US Person under ITAR requirements, authorized to work in the US, and able to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.
• General knowledge of hirify.global aircraft and experience with cabin modifications and upgrade processes.
• Business and technical acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Customer support experience and the ability to take initiative in a demanding environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, organization, listening, and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with an international workforce, build a global internal network, and deliver complex presentations.
• Ability to travel independently and at short notice and perform the listed physical duties, including working in office and production areas and handling equipment up to 30 lb/14 kg.
