Senior Underwriter (Insurance)

Location: Northbrook, IL, United States

Salary: $98,000–$132,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze financial data and credit information to approve loan terms and pricing.
• Make recommendations for loans exceeding delegated approval authority.
• Work directly with clients to create customized financing solutions for complex policies and competitive situations.
• Approve quote requests at a level commensurate with experience.
• Serve as a beginner-level subject matter expert on key industry topics and support assigned department responsibilities.
• Visit customers and attend relevant industry conferences.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
• Creative and open-minded problem-solving ability.
