Senior Investment Specialist - Fixed Income

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; other listed location: New York, NY. Onsite role with participation in advisor meetings, client events, conferences, and other field engagements.

Salary: $164,600–$288,000 USD annual base pay.

What you will do

• Serve as a fixed income subject matter expert for private client sales and distribution teams, financial advisors, and third-party financial intermediaries.
• Translate complex market and investment information into communications, talking points, field guidance, and sales enablement resources.
• Identify timely fixed income themes and opportunities based on market conditions, investor needs, sales priorities, and field feedback.
• Support portfolio analysis, including efficient frontier analysis, diversification analysis, product comparisons, and portfolio recommendations.
• Participate in advisor meetings, client events, conferences, and other field engagements.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Investment Management, Chief Investment Strategist, and Client Portfolio Management teams to commercialize investment themes and solutions; guide and mentor broader team members as appropriate.

Requirements

• 10+ years of investment-related experience with relevant fixed income subject matter expertise, ideally gained as a portfolio manager, research analyst, trader, or other investment practitioner.
• Strong knowledge of fixed income investment solutions and services.
• Strong investment acumen and analytical skills applicable to the capital markets.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple business channels as a team player.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Prior experience servicing investment advisors and/or financial intermediaries.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• FINRA securities license(s).
• CFA, CAIA, or progress toward these designations.
