Underwriter II (Insurance Finance)

Location: Rosemont, IL, United States

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze financial data and credit information to approve loan terms and pricing.
• Approve quote requests within the authority level commensurate with experience.
• Recommend approval for loans above personal authority.
• Work directly with clients to create customized financing solutions for complex policies and competitive situations.
• Serve as a beginner-level subject matter expert on key industry topics and support assigned department responsibilities.
• Visit customers and attend relevant industry conferences.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel skills.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
• Creative and open-minded problem-solving approach.
