Manager, Expansion Implementations

Location: United States; remote work

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead payor and partner implementations from kickoff through go-live with internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate contracts and client requirements into implementation plans, timelines, stakeholder responsibilities, and key questions.
• Maintain project plans, trackers, meeting logs, dependencies, risks, and status updates.
• Own open questions and action items, coordinating resolution and revising plans as needed.
• Present updates and risks to leadership, bring forward decisions, and coordinate timelines, targets, and operations with external partners.
• Coordinate resolution of revenue cycle issues, including claims processing and credentialing.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of progressively responsible experience in project management or implementation roles.
• Deep knowledge of managed care contracts and/or provider relationships, ideally involving Medicaid.
• Understanding of provider credentialing, revenue cycle management, and/or claims submission.
• Experience leading ambitious implementations without established playbooks and helping functional leaders make informed decisions.
• Track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Ability to identify blockers early and escalate them before they delay delivery.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders without direct authority through trust, candid communication, and consistent follow-through.
• Clear written and verbal communication adapted to the audience, fast learning, and ability to implement varied client relationships.
• Experience helping launch a new type of program or partnership.
