Salary: $83,000–$127,800 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for candidates in the United States.

hirify.global’s PageWide Industrial Division develops high-volume digital inkjet printing presses for publishing, direct mail and marketing, commercial printing, and packaging.

What you will do

• Design mechanical and electromechanical systems and subsystems for current and next-generation digital inkjet web press platforms.
• Create 2D and 3D CAD designs and direct external design resources when needed.
• Develop test plans and validate tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, power, and acoustics.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional, multidisciplinary projects delivering reliable, cost-effective, high-quality products.
• Document designs through BOMs, drawings, assembly documentation, and Theory of Operations, supporting transfer to manufacturing and long-term support teams.
• Collaborate with customers, R&D, operations, manufacturing, procurement, suppliers, management, and outsourced development partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline; relevant work experience or expertise may be considered.
• 4–6 years of mechanical design experience.
• Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines.
• Experience delivering technical solutions and systems across the full design cycle, from concept and prototype through manufacturing and end of life or obsolescence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate product architecture and design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
• Fluency in English.
• Proactive, innovative, self-motivated, and adaptable approach to changing business needs.
