Compliance Test Engineer (HPC-AI Products)

Location: Onsite in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, United States of America.

Salary: USD 74,000–170,300 annual base salary in Wisconsin; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Design portions of engineering solutions for mechanical and thermal hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling.
• Develop and implement test parameters and validation plans for tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, fan curves, system power, and acoustics.
• Conduct feasibility, validation, reliability, and empirical testing of new and modified designs.
• Use CFD and thermal mockups to validate thermal solutions.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on mechanical and thermal design and development.
• Contribute to reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for low- to moderately-complex products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience.
• Experience using ProEngineer or other 3D CAD software for mechanical design.
• Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing sheet metal and plastic parts, including associated production tooling and processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and the local language.
• Ability to communicate design proposals effectively and negotiate options.
