Staff DevSecOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Boston, MA; hybrid work with two core office days, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

Salary: $135,900–$181,200 annual base pay, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement DevSecOps practices and security controls across enterprise environments.
• Architect and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows.
• Optimize AWS and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and secure Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Lead vulnerability management across cloud, application, container, and infrastructure environments through scalable automation.
• Develop cloud detection engineering, monitoring, alerting, threat detection, and incident response workflows.
• Implement CSPM, continuous control monitoring, automated remediation, architecture reviews, and security enablement programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or related roles, including architecture-level experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps practices and enterprise security controls.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline architecture, automation, and secure software delivery.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform and strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and container security.
• Understanding of IAM, RBAC, secrets management, encryption, certificates, and network security.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS Benchmarks, OWASP, and related security and compliance standards.
• Experience with scripting and automation languages, plus strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Cloud security or related certifications.
• Experience with additional cloud platforms or tools.
