Supervisor, Manufacturing (Autonomous Undersea Vehicles)

Location: Cranston, Rhode Island or Bristol, Rhode Island, United States; onsite at the manufacturing facility.

Salary: $89,000–$111,200 annually.

What you will do

• Supervise daily assembly operations and communicate production objectives, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Monitor production performance, quality, safety, schedules, KPIs, and resource utilization.
• Coach, mentor, train, and hold production team members accountable for established processes and expectations.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new production employees.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, facilities, safety, quality, and production leadership to resolve issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and manage timekeeping and attendance records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment, or an Associate’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and align teams with organizational goals.
• Proven leadership skills, including motivating teams and building productive working relationships.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, overtime, or alternate shifts as required by production demands.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice to have

• Experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
