Supervisor, Manufacturing (Medical Devices)

Location: USA - New Hampshire - Salem; onsite manufacturing role.

What you will do

• Supervise production activities, ensuring compliance with safety, QMS, quality, productivity, and process requirements.
• Provide daily coaching, oversight, training, performance feedback, and formal performance reviews for the production team.
• Establish and reinforce standardized work processes, implement countermeasures, and promote employee empowerment and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate the NBS Next business model on the production floor and lead or delegate SQDIPC meetings and activities.
• Coordinate tooling, materials, schedules, preventive maintenance, resources, and customer requirements.
• Monitor production processes, approve PTO requests and timecards, and provide monthly department status updates.

Requirements

• 10+ years of firsthand experience in an operations or quality role.
• Ability to understand a broad range of extrusion equipment functions.
• Strong technical, organizational, written communication, verbal communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify and anticipate issues, proactively address them with others, and coach and develop employees.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant degree; additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.
