Production Supervisor (Aerospace)

Location: Fully onsite, 2nd shift, Sylmar, California, United States. Only US citizens, green card holders, political asylees, or refugees are eligible to apply.

Base salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year, with a possible annual bonus of up to 7% of base salary.

What you will do

• Supervise shift production teams fabricating and processing aerospace transparency materials.
• Work with functional supervisors and managers to meet customer quality, service, and performance requirements.
• Identify and eliminate waste across production processes while coordinating production sequences and staffing.
• Train and cross-train employees and maintain proficiency records.
• Maintain inventory control and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, company, and EEO policies while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• US citizenship, a US green card, political asylum status, or refugee status is required.
• Must be willing and able to obtain a secret clearance.
• A bachelor's degree and 2+ years of leadership experience, or a high school diploma and 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Familiarity with AS9100, lean manufacturing principles, and kaizen events.
