Lead Product Manager - Card Products (Fintech)

Location: United States; remote-first

Salary: $146,400–$206,600 USD annually, depending on geographic zone.

What you will do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for hirify.global’s AP card and virtual card products, including expansion into prepaid cards backed by a cash account.
• Manage the card funnel from acquisition through onboarding, activation, and repeat usage, improving adoption and reducing reliance on manual activation and support.
• Design and run experiments, connect results to adoption, usage, and revenue outcomes, and prioritize launches.
• Define card experiences for SMB accounts payable users, accountants managing multiple clients, and suppliers receiving virtual card payments.
• Build business cases using card unit economics and issuing, processing, and network partner relationships.
• Lead cross-functional execution, launch coordination, reliability, success metrics, instrumentation, dashboards, and prioritization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of payments or card products across strategy and execution.
• 5+ years of experience building products for commercial businesses or consumers in a startup or similarly fast-paced environment.
• Experience bringing a credit, debit, prepaid, virtual, or commercial card product to market, with measurable results in adoption, activation, usage, revenue, or retention.
• Working knowledge of card issuance and payments, including authorization, processing, settlement, unit economics, and partner relationships.
• Experience running growth funnels and experiments, defining success metrics, and prioritizing without a fully mapped playbook.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools in product work and experience leading projects across Engineering, Design, Operations, and Go-To-Market teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with corporate spend, accounts payable workflows, or SMB card payments.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth fintech scaling a financial product.
• Familiarity with prepaid card programs, stored-value or cash account products, or product-led growth in multi-sided customer ecosystems.
